DISCLAIMER – STATE PICKLEBALL CENTRE
Effective: 16 July 2025
By entering or using the facilities at the State Pickleball Centre (SPC), all participants, spectators, and visitors agree to the following terms and conditions:
Pickleball is a physical activity that carries inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, sprains, strains, collisions, and equipment-related injuries. By entering the premises or participating in any activity, you voluntarily assume full responsibility for all associated risks.
SPC is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained while using the venue, except where directly caused by proven negligence.
To reduce risk, SPC has installed non-permanent courtside signage and barriers to help minimise balls crossing between courts, mitigating trip hazards and potential collisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SPC, its owners, staff, contractors, and affiliates accept no liability for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or death incurred on the premises—whether arising from negligence or otherwise.
In the event of a medical emergency, staff may administer basic first aid or contact emergency services. Any associated costs are the sole responsibility of the individual or their guardian.
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times, except during authorised coaching programs or supervised events. Parents or guardians remain responsible for the conduct and safety of any minors in their care.
Participants aged 14–17 may attend without a parent or guardian but must comply with all venue rules and staff instructions. Misconduct may result in immediate removal and notification of a parent or guardian.
All participants under 18 must have this disclaimer acknowledged and signed by a parent or legal guardian before using the facilities.
All personal items are brought onto the premises at your own risk. SPC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
All players and visitors must follow venue rules, signage, and staff instructions. Unsafe, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the premises without refund or notice.
Alcohol and illegal drugs are strictly prohibited. Individuals suspected of being under the influence will be denied entry or removed immediately.
Only authorised and approved coaches or service providers may operate within the venue. External coaching, paid instruction, or unauthorised activities are not permitted without written approval from management.
All bookings are subject to SPC policies. No-shows or late cancellations may result in forfeiture of court time and applicable fees.
SPC reserves the right to alter schedules, close courts, or modify services at any time due to maintenance, events, or operational requirements. Refunds or credits are issued at management’s discretion.
All SPC facilities, amenities, and equipment are used at your own risk. It is your responsibility to ensure you are medically and physically fit to participate.
CCTV operates throughout the venue for security and safety. Photography and video may be taken onsite for promotional purposes. Entry implies consent unless expressly withdrawn in writing.
I acknowledge that I have read and understood this disclaimer and agree to be bound by its terms.
This disclaimer applies to all current and future participation at the State Pickleball Centre, unless and until it is withdrawn in writing or replaced by an updated version.
If the terms of this disclaimer are materially changed, participants (or their parent/guardian) will be notified and asked to re-acknowledge the revised version.
By accessing this facility, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms of this disclaimer.
